We would like to officially announce our newest instructor and member of the Wake Lanier Crew: Christian Gunter!! Christian has been wakeboarding since he was in 6th grade. Now in college he holds the INT Expert Division Men's Wake Board Crown. Needless to say he throws down and he'll show you how!

Spending the weekend on the lake learning to wakeboard was awesome. The boat, the instructors, the food, and everything else made for one crazy fun weekend.
First lessons of the season. Thankfully we brought the wetsuit because that water was freezing. We only had three hours and still had one person get up for the first time and another almost clear the wake after only his third time on a board! It's gonna be a good season!
Andy and the Wake Lanier team have simplified my approach to wakeboarding which has made it easier to incrementally improve. We continue to set realistic and measurable goals, and I look forward to another summer of fun.

I have been water skiing since I was young. Trying to wakeboard for the first time at the age of 56 was quite different. Andy showed me a few slight differences between wakeboarding and skiing. Within a few minutes, I was riding that board around like I was 16.
